THREE-PART PHRASAL VERBS
Üç parçalı phrasal verb'ler (fiil + particle + preposition) her zaman ayrılamazdır ve nesne en sona gelir. Bu yapılar B2 ve özellikle C1 seviyesinde akademik ve resmi metinlerde sıkça kullanılır. YDS'de "look forward to", "put up with", "catch up with" gibi yapılar klasik sorulardandır.

Kelime Türetme Kuralı:Phrasal verb'lerden isim türetirken genellikle particle fiile bitişik yazılır (breakthrough, outcome). Sıfatlarda ise tire kullanılır (worn-out, off-putting). YDS kelime sorularında bu yapılar sıkça karşımıza çıkar.

🎓 YDS/YÖKDİL Phrasal Verb Stratejileri
- Önce bağlamı okuyun:Boşluktan önceki ve sonraki cümleler anlam ipucu verir. "Havaalanı" geçiyorsa take off = havalanmak.
- Particle analizi:up = tamamlama/artış (give up, turn up), off = uzaklaşma/iptal (take off, call off), on = devam (keep on, carry on).
- 3 parçalı yapı kontrolü:Eğer boşlukta fiil + particle + preposition varsa (look forward to) nesne mutlaka sona gelir.
- Formal-paraphrase ilişkisi:Paragrafta "postpone" geçiyorsa seçeneklerde "put off" arayın.
- Zamir testi:Eğer nesne zamirse (it/them) ayrılabilir phrasal verb'de ortaya gelir: pick it up.
- Çok anlamlılar:make up, take off, work out gibi fiillerin bağlama göre anlam değiştiğini unutmayın.

ADVANCED COLLOCATIONS
C1 seviyesinde phrasal verb'ler belirli isimlerle sıkça bir arada kullanılır (collocations). Bu kalıpları bilmek, doğal ve akıcı İngilizce kullanımının anahtarıdır. YDS'de collocation bilgisi kelime sorularında belirleyicidir.
