TYPES OF ADJECTIVES · A2 → C1
Sıfatlar, isimleri niteleyerek onlara daha fazla anlam kazandırır. YDS/YÖKDİL/YDT'de sıfat türlerini ayırt etmek, özellikle cümle tamamlama ve paragraf tamamlama sorularında kritiktir.

İngilizcede birden fazla sıfat kullanılırken belirli bir sıra vardır. YDS cümle tamamlama sorularında bu sıra doğrudan test edilir. Bellekte tutmak için OSASCOMP kısaltmasını kullanın.

Participle adjectives (sıfat-fiiller) YDS'de en çok sorulan konulardan biridir. Özellikle advanced, required, fallen, escaped, retired gibi sıfatlaşmış past participle'lar C1 seviyesinde kritiktir.

🎓 YDS Tuzak — Present vs Past Participle
- Present Participle (-ing): Aktif, devam eden, neden olan anlam. "a sleeping child" = uyuyan çocuk (kendi uyuyor).
- Past Participle (-ed): Pasif, tamamlanmış, maruz kalan anlam. "a broken window" = kırık pencere (biri kırdı).
- C1: "The published report" (yayınlanmış) vs "The publishing house" (yayınevi — publishing burada isim görevinde).

Link Fiiller & Duyu Fiilleri
LINKING VERBS · ADJECTIVE NOT ADVERB
Link fiiller (bağ fiiller) ve duyu fiilleri (sense verbs) cümlede nesne almadan, özne hakkında bilgi verirler. Bu fiillerden sonra sıfat gelir, zarf değil! Bu, YDS'nin en klasik tuzaklarından biridir.

Link Fiil KuralıLink fiiller özneyi sıfata bağlar. "He looks angry" = O sinirli görünüyor (angry, he'yi niteler). "He looks angrily at me" = O bana öfkeyle baktı (angrily, looks fiilini niteler — burada look duyu fiili değil, eylem fiilidir!).

- feel bad = kötü hissetmek (üzüntü/rahatsızlık) → I feel bad about what happened.
- feel badly = dokunma duyusu zayıf (neredeyse hiç kullanılmaz) → ✘ I feel badly about it.
- Benzer şekilde: "smell bad" = kötü kokmak, "smell badly" = kötü koklamak (burnu tıkalı olmak).

1. Error Detection (Dil Bilgisi) Tuzakları
🎯 En Sık Görülen Hatalar
- Link fiilden sonra zarf kullanımı: "She looks beautifully" → beautifully değil, beautiful.
- Comparative + than eksikliği: "He is more taller than me" → more ve -er birlikte kullanılmaz. taller yeterli.
- Superlative + the eksikliği: "He is best player" → the best player.
- enough sırası: "enough old" → old enough.
- hard/hardly karışıklığı: "He worked hardly" → He worked hard.
- very + comparative: "very better" → much better.

3. Cloze Test (Paragraf Tamamlama) Stratejileri
Strateji 1: Boşluktan önceki ve sonraki kelimelere dikkat edin. "a ___ old house" yapısında boşluk opinion sıfatı alır (beautiful, lovely). "a ___ house" yapısında ise size (big), age (old), colour (red) sırası uygulanır.
